It's staffs' behavior. I'm not really sure that taxpayer would be 100 percent right. But we're trying thus they could be better

Head of Jakarta Tax Service Department, Agus Bambang Setyowidodo responded positively the criticism of Jakarta Governor Basuki Tahaja Purnama(Ahok) who was furious about tax staff performance flirting with Taxpayers(WP). 

"The criticism of Governor should be obeyed. Always satisfied is not good. He said our performance is still have to be corrected, I agree with that," he told, after Eselon III and IV Offcial Instruction of Jakarta Tax service Department, at Great Hall, Thursday(4/30). 

Agus assessed, the staff who flirt with taxpayers in the field is individual behavior. The behavior should be corrected immediately, whether from the staffs or taxpayers. 

"It's staffs' behavior. I'm not really sure that taxpayer would be 100 percent right. But we're trying thus they could be better," he explained. 

Agus uttered, his party all this time has developed three things for minimizing  the leak of regional treasury from tax revenue. Those three things developed are data collection, payment, and online supervision. 

"There were suggestion, supervision pattern through the taxpayer. If it is restaurant taxes, it could be done. The payment of Fees for acquisition of Land and Building(BHTB) and Land and Building Tax(PBB) can also via online," he disclosed. 

He stated, Smart City application program which is integrated with the taxpayers starting for this year become reinforcement performance in his institute. Because, currently not only the taxpayers data collection and tax payment using online system, but also its supervision involving citizens participation. 

"We're thinking optimally, then digging as we never know the exact number of restaurants in the city. There are licensed ones and unlicensed ones," he asserted. 

He explained, at this time the number of taxpayers using online system in the city reach 4900, while taxpayers who are not using online system is about 7 thousands. Until the first quarter or on March 30, 2015 ago, tax revenue has reached Rp 6,3 trillion. "The result of first quarter, until March 30 reached Rp 63 trillion," he closed.
